Danica L. Petroshius, President and CEO of Policy Strategies and Solutions, brings more than 15 years of experience in public policy, advocacy, management and communications to her firm. While serving in the office of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, she coordinated policy, hearings and markups; managed budget and appropriations strategies; and supported the HELP Committee's overall strategic agenda. She also played key roles in the reauthorizations of major federal education laws, including managing the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (the No Child Left Behind Act). She applies her content knowledge and high-level skills to her research, writing, analysis, outreach and project management work.
